She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Martin and Pluma Martin; her stepson Ronald Walley; and her siblings, Junior Martin, Billy Martin, James Martin, Ruth Coleman and Barbara Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Horace Farris; her stepsons, David Walley and John Walley (Cynthia); her sister Carolyn Messer; and her caregivers, Marie, Cindy, Martie and Jan. She is also survived by her 10 step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
