She was predeceased by: her husband Rowe Grimes; her parents, Princeton Thornton and Annie Lee Thornton; and her sister Betty Jean King. She is survived by: her daughter Tracy Stewart (Chris); her grandson William Stewart (Alyssa Wrensted) of Stephen Stewart; her brother Princeton Thornton; and her sister-in-law Doris Davis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
