With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buell Motley Rumsey Jr. (Sylacauga, Alabama), who passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erie Songer Rumsey and Buell M. Rumsey Sr.; and his son Timothy Michael Rumsey. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Rumsey; his children, Joel Rumsey (Ashlee) and Amanda Ebert (Chuck); his stepdaughter Teresa Maxwell; his sister Myra Beth; his grandchildren, Blake Rumsey (Sarah), Kaitlyn Evans (Alex), Ginny Snodgrass (Jordan), Lilly Higginbotham and Taylor Short (Colton); and his great grandchildren, Addi, Bella and Trey.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mott's memory may be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia Research.
