He was predeceased by: his son Barry McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Nicholson; his children, Brian McDaniel (Teresa), Kayla Norris (Tommy), Nikki Gardner (Mathew), Misty Roberson (Greg), Tina Nicholson and Lisa Simmons; and his siblings, Glenda McDaniel, Helen Mizzell and Dempsey McDaniel (Ann). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and four Great Grandchildren.
