He was predeceased by: his former wife Nellie Jo Campbell Wood; his parents, Young Blake Wood and Mary Beatrice Wright Wood; and his brother James Byrd Wood. He is survived by: his wife Peggy F. Wood; and his children, Lydia Elaine Wood Brooks, William Blake Wood (Cathye) and Nelda Alvalene Wood Thomas. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
