He is survived by: his wife Vickie Carpenter; his children, Gina McIntyre (Ben) and Brian Carpenter (Heidi); his grandchildren, Bailey Drew McIntyre, Parker McIntyre, Porter McIntyre, Kinley Windham and Pake Carpenter; his siblings, Leon Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter (Maxine), Peggy Leftwich (Joe) and Karen Henson; and his sister-in-law Mary Carpenter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
