It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Henry Cook of Sycamore, Alabama, born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Cook and Lillie Mae Cook (Loveola); his daughter Monica D. Cook; and his siblings, Icie Lee, Fannie, Lucille, Ada Mae, James Kavis (J. M.), Arnetia, Mary Lois, John Eddie, Doris, Ivera and Billie Joe.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Porch, Annette Leonard (Reginald) and Eddie Frand Player (Marcie); his grandchildren, Latishia Rowell (Thomas), Lindsey Walker (Dedrick), Crystal Powell-Dickens (Johnathan), Kendell Porch (Andrea), Erin Leonard and Nikki Porch; and his great grandchildren, Jordyn Odum, Kailey Odum and Savannah Powell. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
