He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Loftin and Lillian Loftin Jowers; and his brother Sam Loftin. He is survived by: his wife Sue P. Loftin; his sons, Benjamin Michael Loftin, II (Crystal) and Brian Mitchell Loftin (Amber); his brother Jerry Loftin (Joyce); and his grandchildren, Cooper Loftin, Brooks Loftin, Benjamin Michael Loftin, III and Leila Loftin.
