She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cabaniss and Dellis Cabaniss; her husband Carlton Boykin; and her siblings, Carl Cabaniss, Bill Cabaniss, Mary Ballard and Etoile Cabaniss.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Campbell and Jennifer Carman Tucker; and her sister Ressie Ballard. She is also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
