He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Earl and Claudia Barr; his wife Sue Boler Barr; his children, Gary E. Barr (Beverly) and Nechia B. Sharpe (Alan); his grandchildren, Adam Sharpe (Jennifer), Suanna Bridges (Justin) and Warren Matthew Barr; and his great grandchildren, Grey Sharpe, Nate Sharpe, Katy Sharpe, Sadie Bridges and Avery Bridges.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the America Cancer Society or Geneva Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund.
