Wendell Merril Simmons Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2024, Wendell Merril Simmons of Summerdale, Alabama, born in Monroeville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father A. W. Simmons; his wife Lynn Simmons; his son Andrew Simmons (Kellie); his stepson Adrian Nelms (Christine); his grandchildren, Annelore McMahon (Chas), Kasey Lancaster (Alan) and Alex Gressett; his great grandchildren, Emery McMahon, Kamille Lancaster and Kayden Lancaster; and his sisters, Sherry Dunn (Gary) and Beverly Reeves. He was also cherished by other loving relatives and friends.

To honor Wendell's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association.
