He was predeceased by: his parent Met; and his wife Addie Mae "Betty" Powell. He is survived by: his children, Donna Kirby (Leotis) of Doniphan, Martha "Susie" Frye Austin (Sanchez) of Summerdale, AL and Brad Frye (Rachel) of Summerdale, AL; his sister Norma Patrick of Doniphan; and his grandchildren, Derrick Kirby of Orange Beach, AL, Devin Kirby of Doniphan, Heather Guy of Fairhope, AL, Whitney Gehman of Greenwood, DE and Allison Frye Petracca of Gulf Shores, AL. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in his name St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Cancer Research.
