He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise McDaniel and Edward McDaniel; and his brothers, Roy Bob McDaniel, James Edward McDaniel and Andy Doyle McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carolyn Gulledge McDaniel; his daughters, Heather McDaniel Logan (Jim) of Eutaw, AL and Dawn McDaniel Parker (Wally) of Summerdale, AL; his grandchildren, Taylor Scout Parker (Sarah), Paxton Johnson Rohm (Brandon), James "Wil" Logan, Jr., Garrett Blake Johnson (Brandon), Anna Caroline Logan Robinson (Zeke), Rileigh Dawn Glass and McDaniel Clifford Logan (Caroline); his great grandchildren, Reed Stuart Rohm, Jamie McDaniel Logan, Harrison McDaniel Rohm and Olivia James Parker; his siblings, Elmer Garrett McDaniel of Robertsdale and Mitzie McDaniel James (Randy) of Robertsdale; and his sister-in-law Reba McAlister Gulledge of Auburn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
