It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Ard of Summerdale, Alabama, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Darril Ard and Bessie Lois Ard; and his siblings, Don Carlos Ard and Mary Magnolia Hare. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ard; his daughters, Maxi Ryals (Brandon), Sarah Harper (Timothy) and Penny Ard (Barry Scherr); and his grandchildren, Bailey Ryals, Seth Ryals, Zion Ryals and Titus Harper. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

“I met Max in the Zoom Room. He was so cheerful and helpful. I was shocked when I went into the Zoom Room and found out he had passed just the day before. I'm so sorry, and I'm praying for your family. He was a great person, and I have several friends who were very sad to hear of his passing, too.”
