He is survived by: his wife Linda Hinsley Gibbs of Summerdale, Alabama; his sons, Jeremy Gibbs (Julia) of Coral Springs, FL, James Brandon Gibbs (Jana) of Morristown, TN and James Austin Gibbs of Summerdale, AL; and his siblings, Jamie Lou Palmer of Morro Bay, CA and Turner Gibbs of Florence, AL.
