It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald P. Delaune Sr. of Summerdale, Alabama, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ann G. Delaune (Carol R. Delaune); his parents, Urie Delaune and Ella Mae Delaune; his brother Warner Delaune; and his aunt Nora Himel.

He is survived by: his children, Gerald P. Delaune, Jr. (Sherri), Monica D. McCalla (John), Dennis Delaune, Linda Delaune (Shellie), Amanda Klein (Eric) and Marian Simmons; his grandchildren, Laura Fevella (Tim), Amanda McCalla, Thomas McCalla (Erin), Cathy Delaune, David Delaune, Tyler Payne, Belle Mendenhall, Kade Klein and Alana Cox; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Noah King, Abriella, Hunter, Lucas Fevella and Asher Fevella; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Rochelle (John) and Mike Gonzales (Deborah).
