It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Lassitter of Summerdale, Alabama, born in Robertsdale, Alabama, who passed away on December 8, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Aulsey O. Lassitter; her son Kenneth Joseph Lassitter; and her siblings, Robert Nims, David Nims and Marie Vaughn.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Ronald "Ronnie" Lassitter, Ann Byrd, Daniel "Danny" Lassitter (Pam) and Richard Randall "Randy" Lassitter (Hydee); and her sister Rosemary Darby. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
