It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlon Freeman (Sumiton, Alabama), who passed away on July 16, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Freeman and Audie Mae Freeman; and his son Mark A. Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Freeman of Sumiton; his children, Steve Freeman (Elaine) of Sumiton and Cindy Parker (Kevin) of Alabaster; his grandchildren, Mark Freeman of Calera, Zach Parker (Ivy) of Alabaster, Madison Parker of Alabaster and Sarah Freeman of Sumiton; his great grandchildren, Everette and Evan; and his siblings, Marvin Freeman of Dora, Brenda Elliott of Spruce Pine and Linda Watson of Dora. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
