It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon McLain (Sumiton, Alabama), who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra McLain; his children, Leon McLain Jr. and Sandra R. Yarbrough; his mother Alma Freeman; his stepfather C. W. Freeman; his father Otto Bama McLain; and his nephew Jason Freeman.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rebecca Danielle (Aaron Lovell), Bethany Deshay Yarbrough (Keeli Anthony) and Raymond Daniel Yarbrough Jr.; his great grandchild Lilly Rebecca Lovell; his son-in-law Raymond Yarbrough; his siblings, Tommy Freeman, Annie Freeman and Cordilia Robinson; and his niece Elizabeth Freeman.
