He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Veitch and Elvona Veitch; and his sons, Thomas, James and John.

He is survived by: his brother Mark Veitch (Trisha); his daughters, Misty Estes (David), Jaime Burgess, Jessica Veitch, Erin Lee (Just-In-Tyme) and Madison Veitch; and his last love Dorothy Veitch. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Adamsville Fire Department.
