Carolyn Sue Pearce Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 78, Carolyn Sue Pearce of Sumiton, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy W. Pearce; her daughter Jean Blackmon; her parents, Melvin Taft and Emmie Taft; and her brothers, Larry Taft, Billy Taft and Bobby Taft.
She is survived by: her son Phillip Tolbert; her son-in-law Doug Blackmon; her daughters, Melissa Waid (Forrest) and Kim Abbott (Benjy); her siblings, David Taft (Mary), Bonnie Mewbourn (John) and Jaynie Ballenger (Carey); and her sister-in-law Alexis Taft. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dementia Research or your charity of choice.
