He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Elory Hayes and Mattie Ophelia Moncrief Hayes. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Rasberry (J. W.) of Sulligent, AL.; his grandchildren, Madison Johnson (Daniel), Jay Rasberry, Hunter Rasberry and Christopher Daniel Hayes, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Noah Johnson and Elijah Johnson.
