He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Gilmore; and his children, Danny Carruth and Mary Rose Smith. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith (Canterberry); his daughter Amanda Reeves (Dusty); his granddaughter Autumn Carruth; his sons, Paul Smith, Jr. (Becky) and Tim Carruth (Rebecca); and his siblings, Jeannie Schmidt, Lynn Love, Darlene Smith and Charles Sullivan (Christine). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
