He is survived by: his mother Brenda Gilliland of Sulligent, AL; his wife Benaye Hollis of Sulligent, AL; his children, Colten Hollis (Skylar) of Vernon, AL, John Waylon Hollis of Camp LaJune, NC, Ashley Summers of Tulsa, OK and Chelsea Engel (Kyle) of Tulsa, OK.; his siblings, Scott Hollis of Sulligent, AL, Jeremy Hollis (Amy) of Sulligent, AL, Adam Christopher Hollis (Jessica) of Reform, AL. and Tabitha Lee Hollis of Northport, AL.; and his grandchildren, Palmer Hollis, Brayden Summers, Kynadi Summers, Maddox Summers, Charli Engel and Bryar Engel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel (4255 US-278, Sulligent, AL 35586). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the New Hope Cemetery.
