We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 71, Mavis Lee Watts of Sulligent, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mavis leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mavis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dozier Watts and Zettie Watts; and her husband Wayne Allen. She is survived by: her close friend Berto Molino of Sulligent, AL.; her brothers, Houston Watts and Alfred Spivey; and her children, Lynn Powers and Johnny Blanton. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Otts Funeral Home (4255 US-278, Sulligent, AL 35586). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Celebration Worship Center Cemetery (15330 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592).
