She was predeceased by: her spouse George Gray Gilmer; and her sisters, Julia Maddox and Helen Chandler. She is survived by: her child Donald Gray; her grandchildren, Donald Gray Gilmer, Jr., Douglas Alexander Gilmer (Jenie), Mark Douglas Land (Stacy), Thomas Gray Land (Lesley), Leanna Gilmer Land Jimerson (Jason), Amy Lyn Northam Plourde (Patrick), Charles Bradley Northam (Tracey), William David Gilmer (Joni) and Lydia Ann Gilmer Hatcher (Gavin); and her brother Hunter C. Kennedy. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
