He is survived by: his wife Eva LaGeita Rooks of Jasper, AL; his children, Timothy "Tim" Gothard (Paige) of Leighton, AL and Tina Whitley (Van) of Hamilton, AL; his grandchildren, Heather Borntreger (Kevin), Emily Measels (Sam), Stephen Gothard (Haley) and Elijah Whitley; and his great grandchild Callen Measels.
