She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hackman and Lois Hackman; and her siblings, L. J. Hackman, Shirley Terrell and Michelle Hackman.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Turner of Sulligent, AL; her daughters, Varlisa Jackson (Tracey) and Rahmeel Turner; her siblings, Steve Hackman (Tina), Shirley Jones of Sulligent, AL, Evon Guyton (Randy), Winfield and Linda Pennington (Craig); her grandchildren, Ahmad Walker, Shamiya Walker and Samira Parker; and her great grandchild Kaison Rowe.
