He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Merchant; and his brothers, Donald Merchant and Roger Merchant. He is survived by: his mother Faye Easter (Dennis); his daughter Brandy Merchant Price (Bradley); his siblings, Tommy Merchant (Peggy) and Becky Godsey (Lynn); his close friend Judy Akins of Sulligent, AL; and his grandchildren, Bristol and Bryson Price.
