With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Collis Hackman of Sulligent, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Collis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Hackman and Lucille Gunter Hackman. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Sperman of Haleyville, AL, Collis Wayne Robertson of Gary, IN, Angela Hackman of Oklahoma City, OK, Sandra Robertson of Winfield, AL, Nickie Champion of Gary, IN, Merilyn Hackman of Guin, AL and Joy Beth Smith of Sulligent, AL.; and his sister Ruthie Mae Bobo of Sulligent, AL. He is also survived by Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Otts Funeral Home (4255 US-278, Sulligent, AL 35586). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Furnace Hill Cemetery.
