It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Joyce Barnes of Sulligent, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Donald Hankins and Mizie McCormick Hankins; and her husband Murphy Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Freddie Wayne Barnes of Town Creek, AL, Mitchell Joe "Joey" Barnes (Lenetta) of Sulligent, AL, Patricia Taylor (Alvis) of Beaverton, AL and Connie Tate (Michael) of Greenwood Springs, MS.. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren: 33, Numerous GG Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Crews Cemetery Fund at 364 Crews Road, Sulligent, AL 35586.
