He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Columbus and Elvia Lancaster Stewart; his son Robert Earl Paul; and his siblings, Marie Bowen, Mary Ann Pritchett, Joyce Tallent and Donald Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Peaden Stewart of Stockton, AL; his children, Chris Stewart (Jennifer) of Stockton, AL and Beaux Woodman (Woody) of Crossroads; and his grandchildren, Cameron Morris, Christopher Stewart and Colby Stewart.
