It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Agnes Black of Stockton, Alabama, born in Creola, Alabama, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Robert Black; her grandson Jeremiah Moss; her great grandchild Harbour Black; her siblings, Stella Rodgers, Jeanette Yeager and Bobbie Jean Antione; and her parents, Robert Lee and Susie Anna Kirk Duke.
She is survived by: her children, John Black (Jenese) of Stockton, AL, Charlie Black (Christy) of Creola, AL, Andy Black (Deana) of Creola, AL and Janet Moss (Mickey) of Bay Minette, AL; and her siblings, Regina Pickering (Tom) of Kushla, Jimmy Duke of Creola, AL, Eddie Duke (Terry) of Creola, AL and Leslie Duke (Treva) of Satsuma, AL. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 1308 Dead Lake Road, Creola, AL 36525.
