He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Richard Helmich Sr.; and his uncle Leland Leslie Sumrall. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer "Jenni" Helmich; his mother Jane Sumrall Helmich; his brother Ronald "Ronnie" Helmich; his daughter Victoria Payne (William); his granddaughter Isla Payne; his children, Jaden and Jillian Eslava; and his pet Nash.
