He was predeceased by: his sister Janet Lynn Black; his grandson Jeremiah Seth Moss; and his great grandchild Harbour Ray Black. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Duke Black of Stockton, AL; and his children, John Robert Black (Jenese) of Stockton, AL, Charles Daniel Black (Christy) of Creola, AL, James Andrew Black (Deana) of Creola, AL, Janet Lynn Moss (Mickey) of Bay Minette, AL and Carolyn Ann Price of Opelika, AL. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Stockton First Baptist Church, 52700 State Highway 59, Stockton, AL 36579.
