She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis E. Charles and Doris V. Ford Charles; and her grandson Benjamin Andrew Gaudet. She is survived by: her husband George Edward Gaudet; her son George Edward, II Gaudet (Crystal); her grandchildren, Cadence Marie and Alexander Lee Gaudet; her brothers, John "Joe" Charles (Patsy) and Richard Edward Charles (Rebecca); and her nephews, Brian Joseph Charles (Amy), Antonieo Joseph Lee Charles (Hannah) and John Raymond Charles. She is also survived by two brothers and five sisters.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stockton First Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory, 52700 State Highway 59, Stockton, AL 36579.
