With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lou Ella Dillard of Stevenson, Alabama, who passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Buford Dillard; her son Jim Ed Dillard; her parents, Dock Blanton and Carrie Blanton; her siblings, Dewey, Ann, Vester, Juanita and Bethel Blanton; and her children-in-law, Marvin Cabe and Gladys Dillard.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Cabe of Stevenson, DeMarris Franks (David) of Swannanoa and Gary Dillard (Martha) of Sylva; her grandchildren, Jeff Franks, Jim Dillard, Tammy Sutton, Rick Dillard, Teresa Griffin, Sonya Boone and Dustin Dillard; and her niece Anne Sellers. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
