She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Wayne Phillips; her parents, Ethel Irene Evette and James Isaac Gossett; and her siblings, Beatrice Johnson, Alfred Gossett, Wendell Gossett, Wheeler Gossett, Louise Carter, Clarence Gossett and Gladys Gossett.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Wayne Phillips and Stacy LeAnn Baker (Steven); her grandson Steven "Steveo" Baker, Jr.; her siblings, Larry Gossett (Sharon), Doris Shavers (Jimmy) and Peggy Phillips; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Phillips and Harold Phillips.
