She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Ashbranner and Ada Tidwell Ashbranner; her husband Johnny Mac Brown; her siblings, Thurman Ashbranner and Dorothy Smith; and her nephew Mike Ashbranner.
She is survived by: her close friend Edward Pittasi; her son Johnny Brown; and her granddaughter Amy Layne Brown. She is also survived by five nieces, three nephews, several great nieces and nephews and special friends.
