He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Goforth and Ruby Lucille Goforth; and his siblings, Mary Williams, Barbara Jean Goforth, Gail Bryan, Jimmy and Wayne Goforth.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Goforth of Stevenson; his daughters, Jessica Goforth of Stevenson and Elaine Kirk (Nathan) of Gallatin, TN; his grandchildren, Courtney Chambers (Thomas) of Aurora, CO, Andrew Kirk (Kaitlin) of Hendersonville, TN and KJ Smith of Stevenson; and his brothers, Gary and David Goforth. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
