He is survived by: his children, Donnie Abney of Stevenson, Michael Abney (Virginia) of Stevenson and Peggy Brizendine (Robert) of Bridgeport, AL; his daughter-in-law Frankie Abney; and his sisters, Louise Grider, Orene Driggers, Bethel Mitchell and Betty Jane Denney. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
