Though Jeannetta Matthews may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeannetta Matthews touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Crawford; her parents, Johnie Newton and Gladys Houser Matthews; and her brother Johnny Carl Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Marc Crawford (Suzi), Esther Harvey and Nena Davis; her grandchild A. J. Davis; and her sister Veyonne Privett. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
