He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Burton Loyd and Ernest Jackson Loyd; his sisters, Orpha Simmons and Betty Haddon; and his brothers-in-law, James Seale, Jerry Pace, Roy Seale and Roy Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Seale Loyd; his sons, Chris Loyd (Liz) of Auburn and Cam Loyd of Stevenson, Alabama; his grandson Ike Loyd of Auburn, Alabama; his sister Ernestine Pace of Stevenson; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Seale of Bridgeport and Sam Haddon of Helena; and his pets, Jack and Hound. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
