She was predeceased by: her husband James Rogers; her parents, Eliza Morris and James Thomas Morris; and her siblings, Cal Russell Morris, Paul Morris, Jennie Morris, Amy Stubblefield, Willie T. Perry, Margaret Morris and Martha Bowen.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Dennis Rogers, Michael Rogers (Cheryl) and Carla Rogers; her granddaughter Michele Rogers; and her sisters, Elaster Sells, Lois Cunningham and Jimmie Steele. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
