With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lynn Wooden of Stevenson, Alabama, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Thomas and Bernie Lee Moore Wooden; and his siblings, Bertha Dixon, Louise Fox, Betty Gay, Sandy Harderman and Ray Wooden of Randy Wooden, J. E.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Thomas Wooden; his children, Sammy Wooden and Cheryl Massey (Corey); his grandchildren, Cody Lee Wooden of Carmen Wooden, J. D, Kayla Massey and Josh Wyatt; and his sisters, Sheila West and Sandra Holland.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Centennial Baptist Church (1110 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Centennial Church Cemetery.
