He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roy, Irene Atkins, Dewitt and Odell Thompson; and his pet Buckley.

He is survived by: his children, Dakota Atkins (Veronica) and Haley Atkins (Trevan Cash); his granddaughter Sophia; his father Carl "Moosie" Faye Atkins; his sister Stacy Powell (Norm); his niece Emily Powell; his nephew Taylor Powell; and his pets, Hank and Butters. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
