He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dobbins and Arrie Dobbins; and his siblings, Louise Brookshire, Lula Bennett, Edgar, Edward, Buford, Harold and Roy Dobbins.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dobbins; his daughter Deborah Harris (John); his grandson Dakota Harris (Shelby); his great grandchild Beau Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Dianne Gamble and George Hubbard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
