He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Garner and Luna Garner; and his siblings, Ellie Little, Jerry, Gene and Wendall Garner.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Rainey (Daniel); his grandchildren, Claire, Maggie, Leia Rainey, Lauren, Camden May and Kaylee; his close friends, Kay Knight, Misty May (Kevin) and Christy Carter; and his sisters, Carolyn Swearengin (Clayton), Sadie Miller (Billy), Diane Knight (Richard) and Evelina Parker (Bobby). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
