She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilliard Goodwin and Clora Goodwin; her brother John David Goodwin; and her nephew Michael Andrew Rutland. She is survived by: her sister Deborah Rutland; her nephew Dr. James Rutland M. D.; her great-niece Madeleine Hernandez; and her great-nephew Jacob Daniel Rutland.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home (1300 4th Ave N, Bessemer, AL 35020). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Valhalla Cemetery.
