Judith E. Hammond Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2024, at the age of 82, Judith E. Hammond of Steele, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Newton and Myrtle Newton; her husband Frank "Bo" Hammond; and her brothers, Val Newton and Amos Newton Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Sandy Bell (Skip) of Uriah and Rusty Hammond (Trish) of Somerville; her grandchildren, Colton Hammond (Victoria) of Colorado Springs, Kayla Bell of Uriah and Chloe Hammond of Ashville; and her brothers, Kenneth Newton (Nancy) of Gadsden, Ray Newton (Marsha) of Wichita and Reginald Newton of Gadsden.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Morgan Funeral Chapel (625 Gilbert Ferry Rd SE, Attalla, AL 35954). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Embrace (Methodist Children's Home).
